Susana Balbo, a wonderful LETIS client, has been honored as the “Winery of the Year” in the prestigious Descorchados Guide 2023. This recognition is another evidence of the commitment to excellence and innovation that characterize this renowned winery.
The distinction, awarded by renowned Chilean critic Patricio Tapia in March of this year, highlights the strength of Susana Balbo’s portfolio. In the latest edition of the Descorchados Argentina guide, Tapia rated Susana Balbo as “one of the best wineries in South America” and named it Winery of the Year.
Tapia tasted and evaluated 22 wines from the winery, giving outstanding ratings to both reds and whites, as well as rosés. The diversity of wines is one of Susana Balbo’s distinctive features.
The innovation and new releases from Susana Balbo also received significant recognition in Tapia’s report. The Susana Balbo Signature Limited Edition Cabernet Sauvignon from Los Chacayes 2020 and the Susana Balbo Signature Limited Edition Blanco from Gualtallary 2021, along with the Crios Sustentia Cabernet Sauvignon Organic 2022 and Crios Sustentia Malbec Organic 2022, received high ratings, highlighting the winery’s ongoing pursuit of excellence and innovation.
